The Parts Re-Order module is used in conjunction with the Inventory module to manage your stock replenishment situation.

Using your average monthly sales and supplier lead time as well as the number of months' stock required, you can

reasonably determine the quantities to be ordered.

This supposition is the basis upon which Sabre-Automotive generates a suggested re-order report. This report can be further refined by varying the parameters thus allowing greater flexibility in tailoring to suit particular circumstances.

Functions

  • Generation of suggested reorder quantities based upon historical           average sales and stocking factors supplied by user.
  • Optional re-order Review file created for item-by-item analysis.
  • Update generated review file quantities using browsing tools and graphic bar chart of units sold over last 12 months.
  • Out-of-stock months play no part in re-order quantity calculation.
  • Generation of actual inventory order from review file.
  • Maintenance of inventory order: deleting, renaming, change receiving warehouse.
  • Archive of Purchase Order for historical reference.
  • Electronic re-order file generation in form suitable for E-mail to supplier (currently Toyota format - can be tailored for other supplier if required).
  • Generation of suggested report from one warehouse to another.
  • Interfaces to Inventory system
